I've been tagged!? So....

List 10 things about your art and post it in your journal.

Hokays then here we go?:

1. I love watercolors, they're just so cool. They come out of little tubes! And you can be super cheap with them and reuse them even after they've dried if you have left over paint, just add water!! And they revive!! Magical!! :3 Plus they're the only kind of paints that I own. (._. )

2. I get ideas for pictures when I'm taking a shower. A nice idea suddenly comes to me and I have to run to my room. Good thing my room is right next to the bathroom...

3. I like to draw eyes first. Or sometimes just eyes. Eyes are just neat that way. Eyes and goldfish. And clouds. Eyes, goldfish, and clouds. I think I could dedicate an entire sketchbook to those three....

4. I have one sketchbook almost entirely filled with hands, but I'm still really bad at drawing hands. Especially when they aren't the focus of the picture.

5. When I was in preschool I use to draw jellyfish and sea anemones. I think maybe I'll go back to those sometime, they are really cool spineless organisms... (like me :])

6. I can't draw clean lines to save my life. So I fail at line art.

7. When I draw with music playing I don't listen to the music at all. So I don't notice it stopping until a while after when I realize there isn't any background noise.

8. I like to ask my mom for feedback on pictures and she usually points out so many things that are :[ that I give up on the picture after a while.

9. After I give up on the picture because of my mom I start drawing again because I suddenly think: "I have the rest of my life to learn anatomy and how to show weight, I should be drawing pictures because I enjoy it!" Then I hit an art block and think about how dassai I am.

10. I have default poses/hair/clothes. It makes me sad, so I try to do new things, but when I can't draw anything I'll usually revert to my defaults.

I'm dying of the heat~! Maybe I should turn on the AC....
